In March 2025, one of Bulgaria’s leading retail chains - Fantastico, opened its 47th store — a modern retail complex in the Orlandovtsi district of Sofia. With this new location, the company sets a new standard for retail spaces and continues its expansion strategy, commitment to customer-oriented innovation, and pursuit of continuous improvement in service quality. The retail complex offers contemporary design, smart systems, and an enhanced customer experience. The site follows the “retail park” model, including additional tenants beyond the main store. This approach reflects the growing European trend, in which food retail is evolving into multifunctional spaces, focused on experience and customer needs. The shopping center offers a wide variety of products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, and more. The store features a culinary counter with freshly prepared meals and salads, as well as fresh sushi, an extensive organic food and beverage section, dietary products, and a café offering sandwiches, baked goods, fresh juices, and much more. Buldecor is a key partner in the production and implementation of the site’s interior, created according to custom design. The retail complex is featured in the annual Europe’s Finest report by European Supermarket Magazine (ESM). The report highlights the most innovative and outstanding newly built or renovated supermarkets. The Fantastico store in Orlandovtsi district has received two awards from the National Competition “Building of the Year”, including the special “Audience Award.” The store also introduced the first checkout counter, designed for people with mobility impairments.
